Top attractions in Slovenia – a day trip from Zagreb
With a population of 300, 000, Ljubljana is one of the smallest capitals in Europe. It is also one of Europe’s greenest and most livable capitals.
Just an hour and a half from Zagreb, Ljubljana is a perfect place for a day trip. Join me on this tour and enjoy strolling through the streets of this charming city.
Apart from Ljubljana, you can choose between a visit to Postojna Cave or Bled Lake.
Postojna Cave:
A 24 km long cave system is the most visited one in Europe. About 5. 3 kilometers (3. 3 mi) of the cave system are open to the public. A special train will take you into this magnificent underground world.
Bled Lake:
With the emerald-green lake, picturesque church on an island, a medieval castle on a cliff, and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps in the background, it is understandable why Bled is Slovenia’s most popular resort.
